My name is Jacques, I am French, and I have always dreamed of opening a small agriturismo in Tuscany, Italy. One day, wandering around on a classifieds site, I found a piece of land for sale near Pienza. The price was great, the view incredible ... but something didn't add up for me.

Before making any decision, I asked for a complete cadastral survey and a land use check. Well, what I found out changed everything: the land was registered as agricultural, but it was within an area subject to a zoning variance.

With the right help, I realized that there would be the possibility of building in the future. It was not a guarantee, of course, but a real opportunity. Eventually I bought and, after two years, the municipality approved the new plan. Now I am building my farmhouse among the olive trees.

All this would never have been possible without that cadastral service. That is where my Italian dream began.
